Put On Your Blue Suede Shoes & Play Puzzle Palooza

Celebrate Valentine’s month by having a date with Downtown Summerville Thursday, February 21, 2013.  Have dinner, stroll the streets and visit the shops while playing Puzzle Palooza with your friends and family.  While you are making your rounds enjoy the music of our special guest ELVIS.  He will be performing in Hutchinson Square from 6pm-7:30pm! Elvis impersonator Michael Viljac (www.viljac.com) will get things All Shook Up, singing some of our favorites from the King.

Players can pick up their game boards at People, Places & Quilts on West Richardson or at Four Green Fields on Short Central. Thirty-five downtown businesses will host the event as puzzle stops. Participating businesses will have the “Puzzle Palooza” logo in their window. Players must collect a piece from each business put them in the correct order to reveal the picture or message.  Click here for a map of Puzzle Palooza Participants!

The game will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 21, and run through closing on Saturday, February 23.  Bring the completed puzzle to the lobby of First Citizens Bank at 218 S. Main Street and deposit it in the collection box by 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25. All the correct entries will be put into a drawing for the $500 Grand Prize and $100 runners-up. The Grand Prize  will be $500 in D.R.E.A.M. gift certificates, redeemable at dozens of Summerville businesses. Five runners-up will receive $100 in gift certificates.

So put on your Blue Suede Shoes, pack up your Teddy Bear and head to downtown Summerville. Nobody should be Lonesome on this night.
