Summerville Has Got It Going On

Summerville D.R.E.A.M. (Downtown Restoration, Enhancement and Management) is the non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the historic identity, ensuring the economic vitality, and promoting a sense of community in the heart of Downtown Summerville. As a member of South Carolina Main Street and the National Main Street programs, Summerville D.R.E.A.M. practices the Four Point Approach to ensure a complete revitalization effort in Historic Downtown Summerville area.

Summerville D.R.E.A.M. was formed in 1992 during a difficult economic climate and has become the organization that helps to bring focus to Summerville and its Historic Downtown district. Summerville D.R.E.A.M. organizes events and promotion efforts to bring tourists as well as local and regional residents into the downtown area. Voted in 2010 by the readership of the Summerville Journal- Scene as the Best Non-Profit organization and sponsor of the Best Free Entertainment venue (Third Thursdays) runner-up, D.R.E.A.M. continues its efforts to foster a sense of community along with ensuring a vibrant economy in the heart of Downtown Summerville.

Third Thursdays in 2012

Come and join us in Historic Downtown Summerville as our shops and restaurants will be open late and some will have special promotions.

Date: Every Third Thursday in 2012
Time: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Place: Downtown Summerville - Both sides of Main Street/Hutchinson Square (by Guerin's Pharmacy and Sweetwater Cafe), [Short] Central Avenue (by The Village Knittery and Marigold's), West and East Doty Avenues (by Perfectly Franks and the Summerville Dorchester Museum) and West and East Richardson Avenues (by The Finishing Touch, Sarah's View and Community Christian Store).
